Charlie Davison was born with Thantophoric Dysplasia Type I Dwarfism, a rare type of dwarfism that effects only 1 in 20,000-50,000 newborns. The students in the Biomedical Engineering program at University of Virginia wanted to help Charlie by building him a tricycle that looked less like a medical machine, and more like a kid's toy.
