FOR FALLING IN LOVE (FALLING IN LOVE)
Louie Austen, the guy who combines clubby tunes with vocals à la Frank Sinatra, is back with an EP called MyAmy, which includes two brand new tracks and three remixes.
Flying Away is a retaliation for the worlds misery, nicely packed in a disco track. While Austrian musician Just Banks took a deep house approach to the song on his dub remix, Mike Rigler made a brash electro track out of it. In MyAmy, the second song on the EP, Louie professes his love for Amy Winehouse. Not surprisingly, the homage to the enfant terrible is a fun track with great lyrics. Bombjack puts the icing on the cake with his re-edit, which sounds as if he had a whole big band in the studio.
