This is part-4 of the local media's coverage of the arrival of Hurricane Andrew which hit the Homestead-Cutler Ridge area of South Miami Dade County on August 24th,1992. Former WTVJ Channel-4 Weatherman Brian Norcross can be seen throughout most of this segment as he chose to stay on the air for two days straight days and forcast the storm when most of the other local Miami TV-Weather-Casters wimped out and ran home to ride the Hurricane out with their families. I'm sure Brian left plenty of food at home for his cat which was who he lived with at the time. Unless of course he left the cat with a friend or brought it to the TV Station.
