When Jeff Alt embarked on a journey to hike the entirety of the Appalachian Trail, his motivation wasn't fitness or self-fulfillment: it was giving a voice to those living with disabilities. In this engaging talk, Jeff Alt shares his experiences with bugs, blisters, skunk bedmates, and the life lessons that surround them.
Jeff Alt walked the entire Appalachian Trail in tribute to his brother who has cerebral palsy and inspired the annual Sunshine Walk for people with disabilities. He lectures about his trail lessons and how nature can help organizations and individuals. He’s the award-winning author of, A Walk for Sunshine.
