Precious Meshi Nkeih was born on October 17 1987 in Cameroon, Africa to Zacheus Anyam Nchifor and Prudence Taku Tabot. During her secondary school days, her essays were often read to other students in school. This made her see that she was a talented writer. She further discovered that her voice was appealing to people as she spoke. This discovery led her to take part in a holiday program at a radio station in the North West Region of Cameroon called Cameroon Radio Television, Bamenda. With this experience, she developed a great love for journalism. In the year 2003, she gained admission to study Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Buea, Cameroon. Thereafter, she obtained a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has always been passionate about creating a better world for women. This passion and a hunger for more knowledge led her to apply for the Voices of Our Future 2013 Program at World Pulse, the leading network that uses digital media to amplify the voices of women worldwide. She was selected along with 30 other women, to receive training as a Voices of Our Future Correspondent. She is passionate about using her voice and her pen to inspire change.
