I spent today working on a new concept. I took a simple rhumba rhythm, and filled in the spaces of the rhythm with counterpuntal lines. This is done in latin percussion regularly - I just took that concept and applied it to the piano. It's tough to get really locked in and consistent - if you play piano, try it out.
At the end of my practice session, I decided to record it. I also pre-recorded a moog line that uses that same concept, and added a fun little synth rhythm on top, along with a basic rhumba rhythm in percussion. I hope you dig! Let me know if you have any questions.
