Radio Frequency Fox Hunting in Tokyo

We have to draw an invisible map of Tokyo central, sensing and measuring the intensity of the radio wave which come from antenna relay for mobile phones, closed communication system for subway network, TV broadcasting tower and other radio emitting devices hidden in various places: citizens band, policeman's handy talkie, microwave oven in kitchen, computers...stuff like that.

Whether digital or analog, global capitalist's telecomunication technologies have used and/or exploited a kind of natural resources limited in electromagnetism, beyond the century after middle 19c.. We could not recognize a geographical terrain of radio wave energy in human-range sensitivity. Using our blindness, they get a profit.

And also, problematical relationship between radio wave energy and human health remains unresolved for a long time. Why? There should be the reason for our ignorance controlled by info-cult-capitalists. See WHO reports.

Radio wave frequency(band) is natural resource, social resource and commons for all lives on the Earth. After FUKUSHIMA nuclear accident on 11 March 2011, we have learned about the necessity of phase transition of civilization itself, but not change of culture(ex. a consumer trend toward ecological life style). This is one of the answers, revisions or experiments for Deep and Longterm Ecology [Arne Naess, 1973, 1985].

This project is a graduation study(on going ) of my student KOU Tatsushi. Final report/presentation will be published in February 2012, in the style of interactive media installation.
