For me ,it is emotionally deepest, greatest piece of art of American cinematography. The story of an obsessive-compulsive writer named Melvin Udall, the greatest cynic in NY who lives in a world that has shrunk to about the size of his apartment and the books he authors. And then he meets a woman who made him want to be a better man. One dog , one neighbor and one woman -things that changed his life. They are nothing special -- they are ordinary people we meet in the street every day and that have the same problems a lot of other people have and you cant predict anything that's going to happen because everything that happens to characters - happens because of what they are.Always look on the bright side of life.
