Recently, I've heard a couple of sermons on the importance of this holiday season, but also how we should treat it differently. We need to think differently about this Christmas in a way that we treat Christmas not just like any other, but in a way to appreciate Christ's humility and focus on why we celebrate. Not only that, but also the responsibility that goes along with it, just like the shepherds, we were commanded to spread the good news. Merry Christmas everyone!! :)
Luke 2:15-18 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about." So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.
