Taken from "Fyrst" EP. Released on Raftonar 08.09.2016.

Terrordisco has been one of the leading forces in the Icelandic club scene for many years. The former FM Belfast percussionist made his name as one of the most inventive DJs in Reykjavik, while his edits of Icelandic tracks from the psychedelic and new-wave eras have cult status on Icelandic dancefloors. Despite being famous for his talent behind the decks, he’s stepping forward as a producer, showcasing an ability honed through years of collaborations and remixes, with his debut EP entitled Fyrst.
The beat-driven Fyrst showcases his recent productions, with inspirations from sources such as The Field, Art of Noise and Percussions.
This five track EP spans a wide range of emotions – from the calmly muscular mechanical groove of Terragon Sunset, to the gratifying afro-house beat of Broad Hill Shuffle and all the way to a painfully fragile and beautiful chillout vibes of Hekla – named after the Icelandic volcano, which despite its tranquil and beautiful exterior can erupt at any moment with devastating results.
Raftonar is the Icelandic record label known for high-quality electronic music, early releases of future superstars and purveyors of the quietly seminal. Fyrst is the 12th release on the label.
