I have no idea if some of my viewers actually like Harry Potter, but I LOVE IT. And so, I thought it would be fun to make a video with a Eurovision song for each character :) Only songs from 2000-2015. If you are a Harry Potter fan, I hope you like it! Even if you're not :)
Why I chose these songs for the characters:
Harry Potter: Well, it speaks for itself. I think it's great with "demons in our minds" though, because it shows that even he has both light and dark in him...
Dobby: Well, he did try to save Harry a lot.
Pansy: "Unafraid to start a fight", just fits great, like the song.
Hagrid: So cute and happy; fits him perfectly!
Goyle: He's confident and believes he can do everything.
Seamus: Of course I had to choose this one! He plays with fire too much XD
Myrtle: She thinks her whole life has pretty much been unfair and hard, and I think the song really reflects her.
Slughorn: Just the lines: "I bet with my soul to get back to truth
Where I would face reality", makes me think of how he was ashamed of the memory with Riddle.
Wood: He's really passionate about quidditch so...
Viktor Krum: No reason to explain this.
Luna: It feels magical, like Luna. And "You're on your own, but you're never alone", is so perfect for her.
Remus: Okay, I couldn't resist choosing this.
Fudge: He didn't wanna lose control....
Hermione: She's just awesome, a fighter. I thought she deserved this one.
Bellatrix: This is just so accurate XD She's kind of a bad ass.
Percy: He did a lot of mistakes, and I think this song is just great for him.
Pettigrew: This little rat just ran and hid. And he keeps doing that, like throughout the books.
Trelawney: She thinks divination is a miracle.
Dean: Just a chill and happy song for a great guy.
Moody: This: "There is a reason why a haunted man remembers", describes him and his past so good. It actually feels like he could be the one singing this song.
Padma & Parvati: They are pretty much inseparable, always together if they can :D
Dumbledore: I don't know why, but this song just reminds me of him.
Crabbe: The lyrics are just perfect here.
Tonks: I think the song reflects herself and maybe her relationship with Remus.
Colin Creevey: He is quite addicted to Harry Potter.
The Dursley's: The lyrics are once again great for them. They just want to be left alone!
Ginny: "I'll be an angel in your sky", is so beautiful, and this whole song just says "Ginny" to me.
Blaise: He's not in the books much, but in my mind he's just a very confident and fun character, much like this song.
Sirius: He has so many sides to him, and I chose this one. Sad though...
Lockhart: "Everybody loves you so", is really what he thinks people will say to him. Too fun!
Cedric: He's kind and smart, and somehow the song fits him, I think. Also, can we talk about that Hufflepuff is always underrated.
Lavender: She's like obsessed with Ron that one time, so yeah.
Lucius: Three lines got me straight to Lucius: "Face every shadow", "Purify", and "Don't deny".
Ron: So loveable character, so wonderful song.
Fleur. She IS like a butterfly, spinning round a sword as if to dare.
Aberforth: We don't know him too well, but I can imagine him being quite torn between issues, wondering what's right.
Quirrell: He gets energy from Voldy, and he is his destiny. According to Quirrel.
Fred & George: I love especially this part. "The two of us still know the moves". Whole song just speaks about their awesomeness together.
Cho: It's been difficult for her, with Cedric, with Harry and Dumbledore's Army. I think the song fits her.
Draco: I can't believe how perfect this is. His life hasn't been easy, and he never had a choice. He later feels that he doesn't fit in...He might actually be my favorite character :) And please don't say Draco Malfoy, or Slytherins in general are evil, becuase then I might just Avada Kedavra you.
Arthur & Molly: Okay, this is just too fun. I can imagine them dancing to this song!
Cormac: Really, what more can I say?
Umbridge: Especially this part just screams Umbridge to me. "No more stories, no more lies, take me off this ride".
Neville: I am not completely sure why I chose this one, but right away I thought of him. Somehow, it just fits.
Snape: This is so beautiful, and for me it's about him and Lily. Also, the "prince" is pretty cool since he's the half-blood prince.
Romilda: She's the girl who tried to give Harry a love potion. Yup.
Lily and James: I love this song, so I just had to include it. I think it fits good, like "now we must let go".
Filch: He hates everone except his cat.
Narcissa: For me this reflects how she betrays Voldemort by saying Harry's dead, and how she has her own heart, you know :)
McGonagall: No idea why, but I chose it.
Hedwig: Well duh.
Godric, Salazar, Rowena and Helga: I just think it reflects their point of views.
Voldemort: The lyrics are too magnificent. "Reborn", like he was, vengeance, and everything just fits.
