Gary Krupp has devoted the his life towards creating greater harmony among the world's religious through his Pave the Way Foundation, for which he has been honored by Queen Elizabeth, Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI, the Jewish National Fund and many others. "We are a non-sectarian public foundation, which identifies and eliminates non-theological obstacles between the faiths." The foundation has 12 worldwide offices. He has had an interest in the Holocaust since childhood because is father was one of the first Americans to liberate the camps at Buchenwald and Ohrdruf. He has spent the last four years of his life intensely involved on the issue of Pius XII, not because of any interested in the Canonization issue, but because "I am a Jewish man who wants to search for truth." To date pave the Way Foundation has posted over 40,000 original documents of the actions of the Vatican during and before WWII. . He believes that Pope Pius XII (Eugenio Pacelli) deserves the designation "Righteous Among Nations" at Yad Vashem, in Jerusalem
