Wancho tribe, Longding district, Arunachal Pradesh, India

Myths of the Origin (based on my research):
Bontoc, Igorot and Dayak tribes of Philippines, Borneo island which is divided among 3 countries Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia, Malay and Sarawak of Malaysia.

In short, South Eastern Asia and Southern Seas.

People from these regions are said to be migrated towards north and formed a tribe called Naga, which later scattered in different places which nowadays are known as Nagaland, Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh (4 states of India) and Myanmar. There are 13 tribes in Nagaland, 17 tribes in Manipur, 2 tribes in Assam, 3 tribes in Arunachal Pradesh and 10 tribes in Myanmar.

Now, we Wancho are a part of Arunachal Pradesh and we are not called as Naga. We are Wancho.
