Toad in the Hole is sausages baked in Yorkshire Pudding batter. It's very simple to make, and totally delicious. You need to use the best pork sausages you can get, but avoid anything too fancy like venison or overly-herby sausages. And definitely try not to use sausages from a supermarket. Yorkshire pudding batter is also easy to make - it's basically just flour, eggs, milk and water. If you follow this video recipe, you should end up with perfect toad in the hole.
