So some decent changes happened to the tank for those able to notice them. The poor Water Wisteria has been so mutilated by the Gourami that it's tops are just dying away. There is fresh growth on the bottoms so I saved those. In place of the Wisteria I have instead a Amazonian Sword. There are two in the tank now.
All stones that are not black have been removed to make things look better visually. Also the 2 foot long pipe has been rolled back to be flush with the glass. Also the things leaning on it to keep it down got tweaked lay out wise and I've re-arranged not only the java ferns but also replanted the Cuban Ludwegia a bit. It bothered me how the shorter stems were probably not getting good light access. Small tweaks and some say the tank looks more empty but it seems much better visually to me and there is now more floor space.
