Thru a Meetup.com social group I joined recently, I met some new friends near the south end of the Appalachian Trail at the base of Blood Mtn. in north central Georgia and, led by group leader Memphis Russ, we trekked up together thru some late September daylight towards a questionable sky above to a peak of over 4,400 ft. above sea level.
Then later, with flashlights in hand and some on our heads, we slowly ventured our way back down in the darkness of night thru an even darker forest, and even though we didn't see the expected sunset nor the rising Harvest Moon at the top, all went well in our Universe that day.
This video is how I saw the events of the day thru my eyes and also how I saw it again later on my computer and yes, that's me breathing heavily. Can't help it. Too many years as a crank caller.
