Came across this in the local Chinese supermarket and decided to find out if it was as bad as it looked to cook. It's worse, much worse :O The smell is abominable, then it blows up in the pan like a bloated escaped intestine and spurts fluid when cut... Tried eating a small piece and even fried with peppers, onions and lashings of hoi-sin sauce it is minging, bitter almost amonical in taste, the flavour equivalent of what pee smells like.
