For all of the government regulators and NIMBIES who feel that having grade crossings where the trains travel faster than 80 are a clear and present hazard should travel to Pennsylvania where several exist on Amtrak's Harrisburg Line.
Here Amtrak's Pennsylvanian blows past the crossing and its classic PRR amber Position Light signals at 100mph. Sometimes you'll get Amish horse and buggies waiting patiently at the crossing. If they can figure out how not to get flattened by the high speed trains ANYONE can.
