I have prepared a video that models the 4th grade expectations of close reading a multi step math word problem, using a tape diagram, and finally solving with the algorithm. The video itself is 30 minutes, due to the fact that I cover three types of problems...

1) 1 addition word problem using a tape diagram and the addition algorithm
2) 1 addition word problem using rounding, tape diagram, addition algorithm, and checking your answer for reasonableness
3) 1 subtraction word problem using a tape diagram and the subtraction algorithm.
