The 'paid news' controversy has gathered momentum for past few months. The reports reveal that big media corporations in India have been signing equity-for-advertising deals with private companies. These private treaties have narrowed down the gap between the editorial and advertising space. And whenever media will be 'paid' democracy will be betrayed.
