Birmingham Mosaic
Meet The Artist Oliver Budd : http://buddmosaics.co.uk/
The original JFK Mosaic was made in 1967 by Kenneth Budd his father when he was still a child, It survived until about 6 yrs ago when some developers
moved in at St Chards, and after they had gone, they had to fight the city council to have the mosaic put up again, and it was decided that as the original one
had been paid for by the irish community, then it would come back to Digbeth being the Irish part of Birmingham. This is a copy of the original.

It has taken about a year to make, 7 days to build and it consists of over 200 000 pieces of very expensive smalti mosaic.
