Today I am answering 3 questions:
1- Alia where are you from?
2- What is Ramadan?
3- What do you eat in Ramadan?

A Channel for recipes and here so many comments about wearing the hijab :-D Always the same story... As if hijab is the most important thing in Islam. Or as if it is anyones business to decide or judge. You're meant to explain how Islam can bring people together and make them live in peace. Really people? Go spend your time praying, meditating, helping the poor and the victims of human rights. Denunciate torture and other sickening behaviors.

All those insisting that Alia should be donning the hijab have got to stop. First of all, this a cooking channel so take your debates about this elsewhere. I'm muslim myself but I admit that maybe like Alia I don't have that elusive spiritual enlightenment that some of you have. So what? You guys make it seem that she broke ranks with other muslims just because she doesn't have a piece of cloth over her head. Get over it. There are other bigger issues at hand.

Love your recipes and videos, Alia! Very interesting to know about you. Do you miss Morocco or feel regret for leaving your home?

Was visiting Dubai during Ramadan this year and was really hard not to eat all day long. Even though we could eat while at home, it was hard beeing outside where no restaurants and cafes are open until sunset. However, it was also very interesting experience.
