A Tour Of Detroit's Ghetto 2015

Driving through Detroit is a real eye opener for those who have never visited the city. What makes Detroit unique is that whereas most cities are say, 80% nice and 20% ghetto, Detroit is the opposite. I'd say Detroit is 20% OK and 80% ghetto. Even if you live in the nice 20%, you're still surrounded by the other 80%.

The city IS making some progress in leveling abandoned buildings, but most of the new construction in Detroit is centered around the downtown area. The rest of the city is still pretty much a wasteland, with small pockets of decent areas in between.
