Anneke Short is a British product designer trained in Switzerland, now based in London. She is the co-founder of AMS Design Studio,an award-winning design and development studio specialising in watches, jewellery, homeware and accessories. She was voted one of the top 100 most influential people in the UK watch industry in 2013 and has been featured in trade magazines such as WatchPro. Anneke also runs a blog on design and new trends which has accumulated several thousand followers. She uses social media to leverage audiences in new ways and is part of a thriving collective of entrepreneurs based in Camden.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
