From the three disc set Harry James & His Orchestra, Bandstand Memories 1938-1948. Hindsight Records. 1994. Recorded from a broadcast on June 12, 1944 from the roof of the Astor in New York City. No commercial recording was ever made by Harry James of this song. The Harry James Legacy. The recordings in this boxed set were made available by Sal Monte and Viola Monte from a private collection of broadcast transcriptions her husband, PeeWee had made during the years he was Harry James band manager and good friend. They were recorded on 10 inch, 12 inch and 16 inch transcription disks.
