This video shows how to do a baby cardigan, starting by neck edge part.
On the lines listed bellow, you could see the cardigan´s pattern.

PATTERN

Cardigan simple to make, although it seems complicated.
Material: Soft Wool used for baby cardigans compatible for needles 4.5, Needles 4.5

Start with 50 pts.
Make bar stitches 1x1 for 4 rows.Let always 5 knit st for edges.
Make the beading row: 2 tog and 1 loop(YO knit).
Then two knit cords.
For the 1st increase, do those 5 for the edge, 2 stocking st, 1 loop, ending it with those 5 of edge.
The reverse is always done in knit st.
Work 6 rows in stocking st, before the 2nd increase.
2nd increase: 5 knit st, 2 stocking st, 1 loop, ending with 5 knit st.
Work 6 more rows of stocking st or knit st.(at your choise).
Keep doing so and increasing until it reaches 162 sts.
With help of auxiliary straight pins, split the knitting stitches as follows:
28 sts for the front part, 28 sts for the sleeves, 50 st for the back part, reminding that we have 2 fronts parts and 2 sleeves.
We must begin by sleeve increasing 5 sts for each side, working with stocking st up to 15 cm.
Just in one row(to create the hilt of baby cardigan), work 2 knit st, 2 st tog, and so on until we have 29 sts in the needle, ending with 6 rows in bar st. Do the the last final touch row.
Remove from auxiliary straight pins those reserved stitches and put then on the needle, on the following sequence, as showed in the video:
28 sts of front part,
Do 10 socking sts for armhole,
50 sts of back part,
Do 10 socking sts for armhole,
28 sts of front part.
Work all together, respecting the 5 sts of edge, doing the stocking st until 15 cm., finishing with 4 knitting cords. Then go to with final touch procedures.
Sew the sleeves, pass the strip anf if you want, do a crochet work around the bar of the cardigan.
