40 years after landing on the moon, Farouk El Baz, director of the Center for Remote Sensing and Veteran of NASA's Apollo Program and who helped choosing the landing sites and trained the astronauts, reflects on the legacy of the Apollo Program, our next step in space exploration, and the benefits of the technologies that were originally developed for the space program. The lecture was an opportunity to honor Dr. Farouk El Baz for his seminal role in the Apollo program.
