Bill Berry and I went on a biking adventure in Skagway, Alaska, we rode from sea level to 3292 feet elevation, we rented bikes from the sockeye bike store and rode for 2 hours 20 minutes up the pass, then went downhill the other way, that only took us 30 minutes to go down. It would have taken us less but the bullies at US customs were bullying people as usual. Belittling each person as they went through asking them personal intrusive questions. Trying to prevent people from defecting from Canada. Don't get me wrong, preventing more than one liter of alcohol from coming into the United States is important work but the cartoon character like people who work at the boarder are just sad.
