bio:
Born in the early eighties, a destined baby, unleashed into the world, perhaps because the death of his sister prompted his parents into creating another offspring together for them to cherish. Growing up was rough as SF Merlo encountered many hardships from being the only child in wedlock thereby his life experiences helped him to grow and strive for success. Ever since adolescence, his influence to rap was inspired by his older brother "Dumplin", which is the very reason "S.F." is in front of his name. "S.F.", which stands for Salt Fish, is the Jamaican national dish and being that we are brothers it only made sense. "Merlo" steams from his insight, some say he's had the ability to see stuff before it occurs, casting predictions and convictions. At first rapping was fun and games, constant freestyle with no written craft, until his high school days when he became exposed to several entities trying to come up. Inspired to succeed, quickly he became active in pursuing his goals. Initially, he became acquainted with HANGA VIP; it was there where he learned the fundamentals of writing and recording. Back then it was only "SF" as his stage name, he quickly adapted and sparked a lot of controversy over a mysterious rhyme style unlike the average. This is SF Merlo today -- a more mature artist looking to bring his mad lyrics and artistic talents to the main stage. Y'all ain't ready for this
