"Local systems in the Euro-Med area. Competition or cooperation? The role of Public Relations"
A "local system" exists thanks to the interconnection between the institutional, corporate, social and cultural tissue of a specific place and can become source of innovation, creation of value and development of the context in which it exists. Considering that a local system can be effectively organized and that it is necessary made of a system of relations, it is the aim of MedCom Symposium to pay attention to the necessity that these relations must be managed and organized in a strategic and functional manner. In the new global scenario, economic competition exists also among local systems belonging to different areas, increasing the importance of the structure and organization of the local system itself for the company or the companies which operate in that specific context. This means that the scenario of competition is drifting from the single companies to complex local systems.
