More protests continue to trail the decision of the Federal Government to rename the popular top-choice university, the University of Lagos, after late politician MKO Abiola.

This former student of the school and "stake holder" said the decision is made worse by the fact that MKO Abiola "was a rogue".

President Jonathan made the announcement on Tuesday during his Democracy Day speech to the nation. It sparked campus wide protests that shut down the school.

Students and alumni took to the streets to continue their protests for the second day, even as the University board shut down the school for two weeks and evacuated students.

It would appear that students are not only protesting the name change, but the man their school was named for.

Listen to this man's opinion and weigh in. Is MKO Abiola deserving of the honour bestowed on him by turning UNILAG to MAULAG?
