I'm Diamond, a 2 year old mix of several adorable small breed dogs. I lived with my last family for 3 months, but was brought to the shelter when they could no longer afford to care for me. I lived both indoors and outdoors at my last home and was mostly housetrained. Okay, I can admit it, I tended to get into trouble if left alone too long. My old owners called me "destructive," but it can be hard sometimes to know what's okay to play with and what's not in a new home. My new friends at the humane society told me about something cool called a crate. They think I should have a crate in my new home (where I want to live forever). A crate can help good girls like me polish up on our potty training skills. And as if that's not cool enough, it would give me a safe place to stay out of trouble when my people aren't home. Did I mention I like stuffed toys? I'm a fun-loving gal with plenty of love, energy, and curiosity, and I make friends wherever I go. I even got along well with my kitty friend in my last home! I can be a little picky about my doggie friends, so you should probably let me meet any other dogs in the household before bringing me home, just to make sure we're all going to be the best of friends. Diamonds aren't just a girl's best friend, you know. I would be a great companion for all kinds of people, maybe even you! Visit me today and let's find out.
