With the Earth destroyed in the year 2151 by a class B star, civilians are being transported to a safe zone location near Pluto. Scouting crews are have been dispatched to 5 different planets to determine which of habitable and suitable for new life. Humanity's last chance of survival is known as The Solus Project.

While traveling past an Earth-like planet, some type of rocket or missile strikes the hull of our scout ship. Miraculously, we've survived the entry into the planet's atmosphere and crash land on the surface.

With much of the wreckage strewn about the shore of an oceanic coast, the need to survive takes precedence over all else. Equipped with Wilson, a handheld device that can analyze various object about us and the world around us, we must locate sufficient sources of food, water, and shelter. In the early stage of our crash landing, we learn the basics of crafting tools out of rock, opening cans of food without a can opener, and how to craft a torch using engine oil, plant roots, and a still-burning jet engine.

Following the tutorial to the Forward Vector, It's vital to track our water level, caloric intake, and body temperature, as in everyday normal life. A few pages of the Solus Project Survival Handbook are scattered across the terrain. But with resources scarce, it may prove to be a challenge. This unknown planet shares similarities with Earth, including liquid water and venus fly trap-like plants.

There are artifacts that can be collected to help combat the elements that threaten our safety. Here we collect the Wrath of Uttukku which provides an additional 1% resistance to hunger, dehydration, and climate.

With so many pieces of the crash transport ship on the coastline, we realize we were part of ship 3 for the Solus Project. Our radio receives a very faint transmission asking about our whereabouts and wishing the best for our safety.
