NICE GRID: commissioning of the energy storage in the MV/LV substation

Teams from ERDF, SOCOMEC, SAFT and ALSTOM Grid carry out the first charging and discharging tests on the energy storage system.
The aim of the system is to facilitate the integration of photovoltaic production into the local LV grid, to limit power demand during winter consumption and also to study network islanding (when part of the grid temporarily operates in ‘off-grid’ mode).
