Everyday Theatre is a family violence prevention programme that has been running in New Zealand schools since 2004. Participants are led through a highly interactive workshop - played as a computer game - where they meet a family in crisis. Through a series of increasingly difficult levels, the family's issues are investigated using structures of gaming, and of applied theatre. To win the game, participants have to help every member of the family.
