A lot of companies are hiring hackers to protect their systems and to understand the mentality of their attackers. The session highlighted the perils and benefits of social engineering and ethical hacking.

Cyber Defence Summit was co-organised by Oman National CERT and naseba, it hosted more than 300 IT professionals from the MENA region. The summit was endorsed by ITU-IMPACT, the largest cyber security alliance with 144 member states.
