Boomtown, QMF's largest community project to date, was a musical theatre production on an scale rarely seen before. Over a year in the making, with a 340 strong all Gladstone cast, this was a spectacle that engulfed the entire Marina Foreshore with the harbour as a dramatic backdrop.
Told through the eyes of a young boy, the fantastical journey of Gladstone's past, present and future mesmerized audiences of over 20,000 people with what it means to be part of the community.
Boomtown has left a lasting legacy in the hearts of the people of Gladstone.
