In 2015, the redevelopment of an abandoned mill building in Sanford, Maine won national recognition for the partnerships and execution of cleaning up a former brownfield site and transforming it into a significant community asset. This video shows how public and private partnerships can have lasting impacts on a small community as the project leveraged various components of EPA’s Brownfields program.
