The Canadian Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Stephen Harper, plans to close Veterans Affairs offices across the country, including the one here in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Will this save money? Maybe. Maybe not. Even if it does, at what cost comes these savings?
Betrayal of the men and women that made the very sentence you're reading right now possible. Thanks to them, we're not ruled by some dictator that would likely not have allowed YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google or any of the services we now take for granted today even possible.
We cannot let this happen.
Our veterans fought for us. Now it's our turn to fight for THEM.
