This system combines several different consoles into one system. It plays games from the NES, Super Nintendo, Super Famicom (if tabs are removed), Sega Genesis, and Mega Drive. The Retron 3 also plays 16-bit games in s-video quality with stereo sound. Not only that, this system also enables you to use the original controllers for each system! Overall a great product from the people at Hyperkin.

Hardware comparison video by Ace9921: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2g3Ma...
The set includes the following:
1 Retron 3 console
2 IR wireless controllers
1 set of composite wires
1 S-video wire
1 external power source
Yakuza Games Rating: 8/10

(Update) Known compatibility issues (courtesy of Ace9921):

1.The NES Advantage and MAX do not work at all.

2.If you squeeze the trigger too hard on the Zapper, the RetroN3 doesn't register the trigger was pulled.

3.Some games have problems with the NES dog bone controller(Rad Racer II in particular, which, while it causes a complete hardware freakout on the RetroN3 Version 1, works perfectly on the RetroN3 Version 2 but will not work with a dog bone controller)

4.The button mapping for the Super NES side on the RetroN3's pack-in controllers has a mistake on it. C is L and Z is R, not the other way around as indicated on the controller.

5. Button-mashing is impossible with the pack-in controllers(it seems to register button inputs at specific intervals)

6. The rapid-fire on the controllers with NES games is insanely slow(I can button-mash faster than that!)

7. You can't mix the pack-in controllers with an official Genesis controller when playing multiplayer Genesis games. Doing so will make some directions on the D-Pad and several buttons not work at all.

8. There is too much green in the Composite video and the Stereo sound is reversed on the Genesis side.

9. There is crosstalk in the Genesis and Super NES sides' audio outputs where you get a weaker left audio signal mixed with the full right audio signal and vice-versa.
