I was spending sometime with friends in Kanchanaburi. I also took a walk to the Sanchuto road level crossing which is manually controlled by the signal man. The signal man closses the carts [gates] for the tourist train to pass over the crossing. I also went to Kanchanaburi train station to see the Token exchange [Train hoop up order] which tells the driver that he may operate another section of any single line tracks to prevent collisions. At the station the signal man inside the signal box demonstrates the use of the token exchange. Notice there is two instruments inside the box bc there is one for each direction. The Tablet instrument on the far left is for trains heading over the Kwai river to Namtok and the nearest one which is the Neals Ball Token is for trains heading to Bangkok and the south to the Malaysian Border and all the way to Singapore. To get to Kanchanaburi by train take the Southern line pass Nong Pladuk station which takes about 4 hours from Bangkok [Hua Lamphong station].
