One day as Sonic is running around at the speed of sound in Station Square, he notices a squad of police cars rushing toward the opposite end of town. Curious, he follows them where he finds the officers shooting at a strange blue figure which appears to be made of pure water. Once he sees the bullets ricochet off of the figure and fall to the ground without leaving a scratch, he knows he has to take action. He confronts the creature and it eventually transforms into a puddle-like mass and moves into a nearby drainage line. Dr. Robotnik, in the distance, declares the creature to be Chaos, the god of destruction. Sonic's mission is to now stop Chaos from consuming the energy of all 7 Chaos Emeralds and destroying Station Square.

This is a series of videos of all Sonic Adventure DX cutscenes for Gamecube in 720p HD. Months of recording, sorting, and editing have gone into producing these HD cutscenes. These videos contain cutscenes from the adventures of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big, E-102 Gamma, and Super Sonic. If you have not fully beaten Sonic Adventure DX, I recommend you stop watching at wherever you have left off in the story to prevent spoilers.

There are a few things you need to know about these cutscenes. First off, you will immediately notice that the frame rate fluctuates as you watch, and in a few videos, you will see the video freeze completely for a moment. This is not a problem with the videos, YouTube, or your computer, this is because I used the Japanese (JAP) version of the game to dump the cutscenes and the US (NTSC) version of the game for audio. Since the speech patterns of Japanese and English are so different, I had to manually adjust the frame rate to sync the audio with the subtitles, a very time-consuming process that took up the bulk of my editing time.

Another thing you have probably already noticed is that these videos appeared relatively all at the same time. The reason I did this was to maximize exposure; if one person watches the first part, he or she will most likely be interested in seeing the rest of the series. He or she will then move on to the other videos, leaving views and exposure behind. These video views then feed off of each other through the related videos list and searches until the involved videos become immensely popular and "cemented" in the search results. This concept was originally conceived by CENTURION24 of LittleBigPlanet. Of course, this is the result I'm hoping for. If not though, at least I won't leave eager viewers hanging with the question, "When are you uploading the next video?"

And so I give you Sonic Adventure DX cutscenes in 720p HD. This is my Thanksgiving gift to all of you. Enjoy the show and happy Thanksgiving everybody!
