The Palouse is the region of Eastern Washington composed primarily of rolling fields of wheat with shallow valleys and parcels of tall pine. Ideal for low levels and exploring. As I swung around Steptoe Butte, you get some idea as to the lay of the land. Then we dive into it. I have to say I had a 'perma-grin' while making these runs.
