Essentia Health Injury Prevention demonstrates proper use of car and booster seats for children. Minnesota's new booster seat law requires children to ride in a booster seat until age 8 or a height of 4'9". Booster seats can keep kids up to 59 percent safer than riding in a vehicle seat aione.
