The song was recorded at the Cahors Folk Club in SW France, in July 2011, with Frenchie Dègre on the harmonica.

The burros in Oatman are the descendants of the burros who were used for transport in the local silver mines. Diane Lake was the intrepid driver!

The video was shot using a Sony video camera through the windshield and an iPhone simultaneously through the passenger window.
