Been asked to put a drum track to this song.
Finalised the small points, and although my drumming is never as perfect as I hope, this take was satisfactory - and since I have been trying to nail the track since Monday (it is now Friday) I think I have put enough into this drum track. I have other tracks to do ;-) I am no pro....

I uploaded the demo drum track last week, and this is the evolved version - essentially the same, but a little tighter, a little more thought out. My first attempt at wall to wall ghost notes - always played heavier music in the past, so subtle nuances are a reasonably new thing for me.

The Superior Drum kit was hand picked pieces from a variety of packs... the details are...

CYMBALS ( pads left to right ) - Sabian 15" HHX hats, Sabian 12" HH Splash, Paiste 18" Giant Beat Crash Ride, Bosphorus 19" traditional series, Sabian 22" Tomas Haake Custom Power Bell Ride (with a Sabian 19" Paragon China on the rides edge) and a Sabian 14" AAX Mini Chinese.

TOMS ( pads left to right ) - DW Collectors Series 9x12, 10x13, 11x14, 13x16

SNARE - 6.5x14 Pearl Ian Paice Signature - amazing sound...

KICK - 18x22 Sonor Tomas Haake Custom SQ2

Kick Pedal - Tama Iron Cobras DK Pedal.

Roland TD9KX Kit with a TMC6 for extra pad inputs....

Got a small Panasonic HX-WA10 camera as a second angle camera....

FIlmed with a Canon HG21 from above and the Panasonic on my right. Video editing done with Adobe Premiere and Audio editing/mixing done with Adobe Soundbooth.

A big hello to my friend johnkew - also check out his channel for some very cool drumming videos. http://www.youtube.com/user/johnkew
