Phx cty councilman Nowakowski makes anti LGBT statement IMPLYING that married gay people go in same bathrooms as his daughter to molest them. He made this statement around 2/1/16 to right wing evangelical minsters during public prayer controversy.

Unbelievable that a high executive in the Cesar Chavez Foundation and influential Democratic city council person would say these things ! I cannot believe what I have been seeing coming out of the council person's mouth the last year or so. He looks to be a desperate politician and now... wants to make himself into some kind of martyr for evangelical Christainty and oh... just by coincidence he started doing this around the time he become embroiled in the insider Phx land auction controversy.
I would also like to finish with his troubling statement: He ends with the statement "The world is changing and it's time for us to take the leadership and change it back to the way it should be."
He sounds a lot like Trent Lott making his outrageous statement before the 100th birthday of the old racist congressman Strom Thurmond:
"Lott said: "When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We’re proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn't have had all these problems over the years, either."
In addition...Council person Nowakowski does not correct the translator when he says in Spanish that "Men" would be allowed to go into the same bathrooms as his daughter. Mr. Nowakowski speaks fluid Spanish so why he had the translator is probably just for convenience to not have to repeat his words. But the point is he did not correct that statement to the translator to these evangelical minister.
