Bone Supremacy is a UK trombone 'choir' of Andy Flaxman ( lead), Adrian Fry, Ian Bateman and Chris Gower. They invariably have an all-star rhythm section and a star trombonist guest.
This set of photos was taken at the Concorde Club, Eastleigh, where their guest was Alastair White and the rhythm section was John Pearce (piano), John Day (bass) and Peter Cater (drums).
The recording is an arrangement by Adrian Fry , with a nod to the Kai Winding Septet.
Solos are by Alastair White, Ian Bateman and John Pearce.
The photos have been shuffled to show the soloists during their solos.
(on this recording Jerome Davies plays bass and not John Day)
The CD is called "Introducing The Bone Supremacy" and is available at
www.thebonesupremacy.co.uk - the band's excellent website.
Note: The photos were taken throughout an evening and not during this tune - hence the mutes and talking ...
