Partho Bose: (Web: WWW.TheSitarist.com) A leading instrumentalist of the current generation, Partho Bose has an uncanny flair of communicating with listeners, world-wide, through his Sitar. Trained for 4 decades in the truest traditions of the Guru-Shishya Parampara by the revered Guru, Pandit Manoj Shankar of the Maihar Gharana, Partho is credited with a singularly distinct approach to music, reflecting an imaginative synthesis of virtuosity and creativity.

Lauded by connoisseurs for his performance at major music festivals in India (including the Dover Lane Conference, the Amir Khan Samaroh, the Mahamrityunjay Mahotsav, and the Vasantarao Deshpande Smruti Samaroh), Partho has captivated audiences at international events (including the Bath Festival, Maastricht University Festival, Art in Action at Oxford, the Black and Gold Series at Nebraska, USA and the Festival a Heures at Nantes, France).

Partho divides his time between Kolkata, his home, and rest of the world performing, composing, teaching and lecturing at countless venues, including reputed universities.

International Media including BBC Radio, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, German Radio, the Voice of America, Indian Radio & Television have featured Partho Bose in programs and interviews to share his vision of life and music.

The Government of India invited Partho to lead a cultural delegation to African countries on the historic occasion of the Golden Jubilee of Indias Independence.

Partho Bose visualizes music as a universal language which breaks the barriers and reminds us of our shared community.

Pandit Anindo Chatterjee: Initiated in Tabla by his uncles, Biswanath Chatterjee and Amarnath Chatterjee, Anindo later became a deciple of Guru Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh from whom he received 30 years of rigorous training. He also received 2 years of taleem from Ustad Afaq Hussain Khan of the Lucknow Gharana.
