I've made a lot of progress on my layout, the Marxville and Plateau (MaP), but it has come at a price. I've not been able to run trains that much because of the on-again, off-again work on the layout. However, I'm between projects now and can catch up on some train running. This installment is actually a 'catch-up' of the MarxTrain Yahoo Group, 'Train Night At Dave's' series. One of the Group owner's (Dave) started a tradition of scheduling Friday Night train runs, with each Friday featuring a different type of train - and not necessarily Marx. Group member's from around the country/world would submit their video entries under the blanket title of 'Train Night At Dave's'. That's the background and anyone interested in Marx and a fine fellowship of trainsters please feel free to check out the 'MarxTrain' Yahoo Group.

This video reflects another milestone on The MaP - all three lines are now operational: the main Marxville line on the lower level; the upper Marxville trolley line; and the Plateau!! Today you'll not only see a Marx Santa Fe E-7 passenger set with full-length Vista dome car, a nice M10005 streamliner, a K-Line SuperStreets trolley, but last (and not least) my version of the Batcave complete with Batmobile! There's still a little work to be done on the Batcave but for right now, I think this will do. I mean, really, how many layouts have you seen with the Batcave on them?

No music on this one - just trains runnin', I'm also noticing things about this video editing program I'm using - it's not updating or making changes the way it should. The opening credits were changed to read 'M10005' and it still shows the incorrect typing of 'M1005' plus a couple of other things. It also has a habit of crapping out on me and I have to make a gosh-awful amount of 'saves'. OK you computer program writers - is this the best you can do for the money we pay?

Anyway, Enjoy your visit!
